Well, I finally got around to doing this...
Normally I am a laid back kinda guy, not really caring to much... but when it comes to saving money, thats my game. I hate it when my money is spent on stupid shit, directly or indirectly(like the government fucking over my money... don't get me started (OSAP, CAS, etc)).
I take my geek-ness and beliefs and shit like that seriously... lately people have attacked certain things that my family does, and most times I just let it go with out saying anything, but I do remember these times. Im very geeky when it comes to linux, again, this has come under attack by many people who don't know wtf they are talking about.
I like to think that I have earned everything I've ever gotten... I've got a 3 year old computer that I am still using, that I paid for all on my own... car, which is on my own, and im lucky enough that I don't have to work while im going to school... which some people may not agree with.. but I figure it this way. Work your ass off on weekends, summers and breaks during high school, save up alot of cash, work during the breaks in college, save teh cash again, and concentrate on college when you need to, not when other commitments want you to. In the long term, it works out...
Im like the half assed perfectionist... if someone says something that is incorrect, im the one to correct them. Partly due to working in Tech Support for over a year and a half taught me that if the facts aren't straight, and you don't know wtf you are talking about, it will confuse other people, which creates a shit pile.
I am a second year CPA student at St. Lawrence College, and many people have mistaken my age and thought I was just barely a first year... but I PWNT them with my l337 programming skills. thats right - I PWNT them. Im hoping to have placement at the Ministry of Health, since its right close, and the pay will virtually pay for my last year in college.. meaning no loan college education for me... House within 5 years of graduation... and probably still going to be working at the MOH, or maybe some other government institution... and if you are gonna call me a hypocrite because I want to work for the government, well, all I have to say to you is STFU, I wanna be set for life, not working in a dead end job foo.
People who think they know everything (now watch it, I know alot, but I can admit when I don't know, and will refer you to someone else) really aggrevate the hell out of me. saying something can't be done on a computer is just incentive for me to discredit the hell out of you. Saying that you are too good for someone, or vice versa will get you disrespect, and if its towards me, ill never talk to you again.
Now, as for my job, im currently working at MultiLaser Solutions working on a project called PrintFleet (http://printfleet.com) doing some stuff that I have never done before. Its some really cool stuff that I didn't realize could be done with a computer.
Current GPA:3.64
